Recreation Enhancement Act (REA)

The Recreation Enhancement Act is a 10-year bill that allows federal agencies to collect fees into a fund that allows agencies to reinvest directly into the forest unit of collection.  These fees help provide for the safest, accessible, and comfortable amenities possible while enjoying Alaska’s expansive wilderness. REA offers a convenient Interagency Pass, which grants access to 2000+ recreational sites throughout the country.
